Colorado Spartans: arena football at the Denver Coliseum

The Colorado Spartans are a professional arena football team in the National Arena League. After a first season in Loveland, the team moved its home games to the Denver Coliseum in 2025. Its 2026 regular season ran from March to May, with home games against Amarillo, Omaha, Pueblo, Dallas and Salina. The team’s dance squad, the Spartan Dancers, performs at home games.

Spyder first teamed up with the Spartans in June 2025, when its banner went up at a team event and the company gave a public shout-out to the Spartan Dancers. In November 2025 Spyder sponsored some of the drills at the Spartans’ player tryouts. In its thank-you post, the team said the support helped it push the athletes harder and test their grit as they competed for a spot on the roster.

Colorado United: youth soccer in the south metro

Colorado United is a nonprofit youth soccer club based in Littleton that serves the south Denver metro. It began in 1960 as Littleton Soccer Club and now runs recreational and competitive programs for about 5,000 players, from preschool-age beginners to teams in national competitive leagues.

On September 18, 2026, the club held its $10,000 Hole-In-One Challenge, a charity golf event at Lone Tree Golf Club, the Arnold Palmer-designed course run by South Suburban Parks and Recreation. Colorado United organized the event, and Spyder Moving and Storage was its sponsor. Littleton and Lone Tree are both south-metro communities served by Spyder’s Denver crews.

A World Cup watch party in Edgewater

The 2026 FIFA World Cup was the first hosted by three countries: the United States, Canada and Mexico. In July 2026, Spyder was one of four local sponsors of a World Cup watch party at Edgewater Beer Garden, an outdoor beer garden on Gray Street in Edgewater with a covered pavilion and Colorado craft beer on tap. The event doubled as a networking day for local businesses, and the organizers said hundreds of people came for the soccer and the conversations. Spyder sponsored it alongside Momentum Exteriors, Curbside Clear and Tridential Insurance. Edgewater sits on the west side of Denver, between the city and Lakewood, a short drive from Spyder’s Denver office.

Why does Spyder back local sports?

Sports run in the company. Spyder founder Vlad Ladygin played tennis for years before he got into moving, and when Spyder made its community giving a standing commitment in September 2026, support for young athletes and local families was part of it. That commitment is funded from a share of the company’s growth each year, not from added fees on customer moves.

Local teams also bring together the same people Spyder works for. A youth soccer practice, an arena football game or a beer garden on match day is where Denver families meet their neighbors. Sponsoring those teams keeps Spyder connected to the neighborhoods its crews serve after the last box is unpacked. Spyder also takes its name further afield: in the fall of 2026 the company sponsored a truck in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series through its partnership with Freedom Racing Enterprises.
