Spyder Moving and Storage is backing Spencer Boyd and Freedom Racing Enterprises in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for the final seven races of the 2026 season, with the Spyder logo on the team’s No. 76 Chevrolet Silverado. Those seven races are the Truck Series Chase, which opened at Bristol Motor Speedway on September 17 and ends with the championship race at Homestead-Miami Speedway on November 6, 2026.

Four of the seven races have been run so far, with three different drivers in the No. 76. Here is who has been behind the wheel and what is still ahead.

Who drove the No. 76 in Spyder’s races?

Freedom Racing Enterprises fields the No. 76 for team co-owner Spencer Boyd for most of the season, but Boyd has handed the seat to young drivers for selected races. The table lists the Chase races, in order, with the driver announced for each.

Caden Kvapil at Bristol

The sponsorship began at the Bristol night race on September 17, where Boyd stepped out of the truck so Caden Kvapil could make his NASCAR national series debut. Kvapil races full-time in the CARS Tour for JR Motorsports, had three CARS Tour wins in 2026 before Bristol, and is the son of 2003 Truck Series champion Travis Kvapil.

Spencer Boyd at Kansas and Charlotte

Boyd was back in the No. 76 for the next two Chase races, at Kansas Speedway on September 26 and at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 9. Boyd is not among the drivers competing for the 2026 Truck Series title in the Chase.

Ben Maier at Phoenix

At Phoenix Raceway on October 16, the truck went to Ben Maier, the 2025 CARS Tour Pro Late Model Tour champion and a Trans Am TA2 race winner. Phoenix was his fifth career Truck Series start, his first with Freedom Racing Enterprises and his first on an oval in the series.

Meet Spencer Boyd and Freedom Racing Enterprises

Spencer Boyd, a Missouri native, earned his first NASCAR Truck Series win at Talladega Superspeedway on October 12, 2019, a fitting memory with the series heading back to Talladega during Spyder’s sponsorship. His role goes beyond driving: in January 2024, Boyd and business partner Chris Miller announced Freedom Racing Enterprises, putting the No. 76 Chevrolet Silverado on the Truck Series grid. As driver and co-owner, Boyd builds the team and its sponsor list as well as racing, and he has used the No. 76 to give rising drivers like Kvapil and Maier their chance at the national level.

Teamwork on the track and on moving day

At Spyder, we know how much depends on a team working together. Every move takes preparation, communication and care, from packing the first box to placing the last piece of furniture in a customer’s new home.

Racing asks for the same coordination in a faster setting. The driver, the crew and the people preparing the truck each have a role to play. Spyder is glad to support that collective effort through its partnership with Boyd and Freedom Racing Enterprises, one of several partners in Spyder’s community and sponsorship work.
