“True professionals”

Second time moving with Spyder in Denver and WOW, true professionals- they get the job done so fast while being incredibly careful. After my first move with them went so well they were no doubt my first call the second time around. They even helped me get my TV off the wall and my large fragile mirrors that I couldn’t do myself. Makes all the difference to have friendly and efficient movers.

Great experience with Spyder moving and storage company! We needed last minute movers & they got back to us instantly and were here packing our things in less than 24 hours! Vlad and Andrii were awesome. They were careful with our belongings & very fast and efficient! I will definitely request them again with any future moves!

Moving in Douglas County

Why Isn’t Highlands Ranch a City, and Does It Matter for Your Move?

Highlands Ranch is an unincorporated community governed by Douglas County, so county rules, not city rules, apply to street parking.

Since the first homes went up in 1981, it has grown as one master plan to about 38,600 housing units.

Where Can a Moving Truck Park in This Community?

On the street while it loads. Since May 22, 2025, Douglas County restricts parking commercial vehicles of 16,001 pounds or more on streets in its urban areas, including Highlands Ranch, but loading and unloading a moving truck is exempt.

Our crews load and leave the same day, so no truck sits on your street overnight. In townhome rows, shared driveways and small guest lots leave little room, so we confirm where the truck can stand before moving day.

How Do Our Local Movers Handle Basements and Townhomes?

We measure basement stairs during the estimate, so nothing gets stuck halfway. Basement home gyms, gun safes and pianos get extra hands, straps and stair-rated dollies.

FAQs

Highlands Ranch CO Movers: What People Ask

Questions about parking or covenants? The Denver office answers calls from the area every day.

Call (720) 545-3187

How much do movers in Highlands Ranch CO cost?

Highlands Ranch moves are billed by the hour from your written rate, with a 2-hour minimum and 15-minute steps. Basement stairs and two-story carries usually take more of that time than the drive does.

Can I put a storage container in my Highlands Ranch driveway?

First, check your covenants. The Highlands Ranch Community Association enforces them, and the rules can limit containers in driveways.

Do you move pianos and gun safes in this area?

Yes. Piano moves start at $120, and safes go on stair-rated dollies with extra crew members.

How do I check if a Colorado mover is legitimate?

First, look up the mover’s USDOT number with the FMCSA, then its Colorado PUC registration. Spyder Moving and Storage is U.S. DOT No. 3187084, MC-132217 and CO PUC Permit No. HHG-00732.

How much does it cost to reschedule a move with you?

$75, when you give at least 7 business days' notice. Call (720) 545-3187 to move your date.
